Full job description

UK Aesthetics Training | Career-Change Sales

Location: Remote

Company: KANVAS MEDICAL GROUP / FACES TRAINING ACADEMY

Base salary: £1,000 per month

Commission: 5% on qualifying sales once the base salary threshold has been covered

On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approximately £2,500 per month

The Role

We are looking for a highly driven Sales Consultant to convert enquiries into enrolments for our aesthetics training courses. This is not a passive admissions or customer service role. We need someone who is commercially focused, emotionally intelligent and confident taking ownership of a lead from the first conversation through to enrolment.

Many prospective students are considering a major career change. They may be unhappy in their current role, looking for greater independence, wanting to become self-employed or lacking the confidence to take the next step. Your role is to understand their situation, uncover what is motivating them, identify what may be holding them back and confidently guide them towards the right training pathway.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for converting genuine enquiries into paying students.

What We Are Looking For

  • Emotionally intelligent - able to understand what a prospect is really thinking and what is preventing them from moving forward.
  • Commercially driven - motivated by targets, conversion rates, commission and sales performance.
  • Excellent at objection handling - confident dealing with price concerns, competitor comparisons, uncertainty and “I need to think about it.”
  • Adaptable - able to follow a sales structure without relying on a rigid script.
  • Tenacious - willing to follow up consistently and not give up after one or two attempts.
  • Confident discussing money - comfortable presenting prices, discussing payment options and asking for the sale.
  • Resilient - able to handle rejection and quickly move on to the next opportunity.
  • Organised and accountable - able to manage multiple leads, follow-ups and results effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact new training enquiries quickly and professionally.
  • Speak with prospective students by telephone and messaging platforms.
  • Understand their current career, goals and reasons for considering aesthetics.
  • Identify motivations, concerns and barriers to purchasing.
  • Recommend the most appropriate training pathway and explain courses confidently.
  • Handle objections professionally and ask directly for the enrolment.
  • Follow up undecided prospects consistently and re-engage older leads.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and follow-up records.
  • Keep every active lead moving through the sales pipeline.
  • Work towards agreed revenue, conversion and activity targets.

Sales Approach

We do not want someone who simply reads from a script. You will be provided with sales guidance, course information and objection-handling structures, but you must be able to think for yourself and adapt the conversation to the person you are speaking to.

If somebody says “I need to think about it”, we expect you to explore what that actually means. Is it price, timing, confidence, their partner’s opinion, fear of changing careers, concern about finding clients, another training provider or something they have not yet told you?

Strong salespeople do not simply accept the first objection they hear. They ask questions, understand the real concern and help the prospective student make a confident decision. This does not mean pressuring unsuitable people into purchasing; we want someone who can combine genuine empathy with strong commercial instinct.

Follow-Up Is Essential

A major part of this role is follow-up. We are not looking for someone who makes one call, sends one message and then waits for the prospect to come back. Many people considering a career change need several conversations before making a decision.

You must be comfortable following up consistently through calls, WhatsApp, SMS and other appropriate channels. Every active lead should have a clear next action, and you should take complete ownership of your pipeline.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • Course enrolments and revenue generated.
  • Lead-to-sale conversion rate.
  • Follow-up activity and speed of response to new enquiries.
  • Re-engagement of older leads.
  • Individual commission generated and overall sales performance.

You should enjoy being measured on results and actively want to improve your performance month after month.

Experience

Previous sales experience is strongly preferred, particularly in high-ticket sales, education or training, recruitment, aesthetics or beauty, memberships, property, automotive, telephone sales, business development or other consultative target-driven environments.

Experience within aesthetics is beneficial but not essential. We can teach you about our courses and products. What we are primarily looking for is sales instinct, emotional intelligence, resilience, adaptability and the ability to close.

Earnings

This is a performance-driven role. The base salary is £1,000 per month, with 5% commission on qualifying sales once the base salary threshold has been covered. On-target earnings are approximately £2,500 per month, representing our expected earnings for someone achieving their sales targets, with the opportunity to earn more through stronger performance.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

You are likely to do very well if you naturally think: Who can I close today? Who needs following up? What is actually stopping this person from purchasing? How can I move this conversation forward? What could I have done differently on the leads I lost?

We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding people, loves the psychology of sales, handles objections confidently and gets genuine satisfaction from getting the sale over the line.

The Ultimate Filter (How to Apply)

How to Apply

To be considered for this role, please submit your CV along with answers to the 3 screening questions and a short video response.

1. Application Questions

Please answer the following in your application message:

  • Pay Alignment: This role offers a £1,000/month base salary with a 5% commission structure once thresholds are met (expected OTE of ~£2,500/month). Are you comfortable with this performance-driven pay structure? (Yes / No)
  • Outbound Calling: Are you comfortable making daily outbound telephone calls and following up with prospective career-change students over phone and WhatsApp? (Yes / No)
  • Track Record: In 2–3 sentences, what high-ticket or consultative product/service have you personally closed in past sales roles?

2. Video Submission (60–90 Seconds)

We are looking for energy, clarity, and natural sales instinct! Please send a short 60–90 second video addressing the following:

  • Part 1: Introduce yourself and briefly share your sales background.
  • Part 2 (Roleplay Scenario): Pretend you are calling a prospective student who enquired about our Aesthetics Training Course. At the end of the call, they say: "I’m really interested, but I found another academy that is cheaper, so I need to think about it."

How would you respond to this prospect on the phone? Speak directly into the camera as if you were talking to the customer.

(Note: We do not expect a polished or perfect script—we just want to see how you communicate, handle objections naturally, and guide a prospect toward a next step.)
