Medical Sales Consultant jobs

Opportunities in Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London, George and Rustenburg with a Healthcare IT Company to promote and sell software solutions to Healthcare practices and facilities in the private sector.

The successful candidates will use their business development skills to generate leads, build a pipeline of opportunities, demonstrate software solutions and manange the entire sales cycles to achieve monthly revenue and unit targets in an allocated territory. They will also be required to use their relationship building skills to retain and upsell to existing practices in the territory.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute a territory go-to market plan
• Generate leads via cold-calling and other contact initiators
• Build a pipeline of opportunities that is sufficient to cover the target
• Achieve monthly revenue and unit targets
• Manage the entire sales cycle including: demand generation, presentation and demonstration of the products and services, concluding the sale and overseeing the contractual process
• Ongoing custumer contact to retain and explore opportunities to upsell to existing practices
• Carry out the sales and retention administration processses and reporting
• Provide market, customer and competitive feedback
• Keep up to date with progam changes, sales and retention stratgies and presentations
• Post-installation customer contact to ensure quality and user satisfaction

Requirements to apply for the position include:

• Matric with a tertiary qualification is preferred
• Valid drivers licence with own reliable vehicle
• Sales in-field experience in the Healthcare or IT sectors
• Face-to-Face cold calling experience
• Competency at demonstrating software solutions
• Effective at building a pipeline and closing sales
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills at all levels
• Customer focused, resilient, target driven and action oriented
• A good understanding of the SA Private Healthcare Industry is advantageous
