Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production and Packing site which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily quality control checks on incoming raw material, in-process product and finished/packed product.
  • Conduct daily quality control sample testing for equipment verification and intermediate checks on instruments to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Responsible for total Quality assurance at the Production and Packing site which includes ensuring the effectiveness of Quality Control Management System and specifications which enables the production of high-quality product.
  • Responsible for adhering to the ISO 17025 requirements.

Qualification Requirements

  • National Diploma in Food Technology / Analytical Chemistry or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance Laboratory in the food industry
  • GLP, GMP, HACCP and Supplier Quality Assurance experience
  • At least 1 year exposure to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and or data capturing.
  • Knowledge and or experience of ISO 17025 will be advantageous.
