About the Role
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Verify compliance with approved specifications, test methods, and quality standards.
- Conduct sampling activities according to established procedures.
- Identify, investigate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
- Support raw material approval and rejection processes.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, inspection reports, and testing results.
- Verify compliance of ingredients and processing aids with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis activities.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
- Ensure laboratory procedures and operating instructions are appropriately maintained and updated.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and laboratory operations.
About You
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Additional qualification in Quality Management is considered an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role within the flavour, food ingredients, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Practical experience in Root Cause Analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), including document control, CAPAs, change control, and audit management.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and ISO 9001 standards and their application within laboratory and manufacturing environments.
- Experience using LIMS for sample management, data recording, and results reporting.
- Knowledge of analytical method validation and laboratory equipment qualification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing responsibilities independently.
