• Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Verify compliance with approved specifications, test methods, and quality standards.
• Conduct sampling activities according to established procedures.
• Identify, investigate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
• Support raw material approval and rejection processes.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, inspection reports, and testing results.
• Verify compliance of ingredients and processing aids with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis activities.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
• Ensure laboratory procedures and operating instructions are appropriately maintained and updated.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and laboratory operations.

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Additional qualification in Quality Management is considered an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role within the flavour, food ingredients, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Practical experience in Root Cause Analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), including document control, CAPAs, change control, and audit management.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and ISO 9001 standards and their application within laboratory and manufacturing environments.
• Experience using LIMS for sample management, data recording, and results reporting.
• Knowledge of analytical method validation and laboratory equipment qualification.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing responsibilities independently.
