Are you passionate about Occupational Health and Safety and committed to developing future safety professionals?

Skills Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Facilitator to join our Academic Team. The successful candidate will facilitate learning, provide academic support, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality OHS education while ensuring compliance with HW SETA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Occupational Health and Safety programmes in accordance with curriculum requirements
• Deliver engaging and effective learning sessions to students
• Provide academic guidance and support throughout the learning journey
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate academic records and learner documentation
• Ensure compliance with HW SETA and institutional quality assurance requirements
• Respond to student queries promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with the Academic Team to enhance the student learning experience

Requirements:

• Minimum NQF Level 5 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum of three years' practical working experience within the Occupational Health and Safety discipline
• Registered with a recognised Occupational Health and Safety professional body
• Assessor and Moderator registration with HW SETA is required
• Previous/ facilitation or lecturing experience will be advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
