Full job description

Responsibilities

  • General accounting functions for the company, creditor processing and assisting with debtor function when required.
  • Preparing and sending out of Purchase Orders
  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Processing of bank transactions
  • Processing of subsistence allowances Processing accruals
  • Processing of credit card transactions
  • Control and process petty cash with weekly and monthly recons
  • Preparation and loading of supplier payments
  • Monthly creditor reconciliations Assist with month-end reporting and financial processing
  • Various debtor processing and support tasks

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Relevant Financial Qualification or qualified by experience
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • Knowledge of Pastel Evolution advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (setting up and editing spread
  • sheets)
  • Experience in Logistics or transport industry will be beneficial
