Full job description
Permanent, full time, on site, subject to probation | Market-related remuneration based on registration and experience
Monday–Friday; extended hours for month end and stock takes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock counts, investigate variances and maintain accurate ERP records.
- Receive stock, track batches and expiry dates, apply first-expiry-first-out rotation and maintain QA quarantine and release controls.
- Reconcile scheduled medicine registers daily and maintain compliant records under pharmacist supervision.
- Allocate stock, check orders and authorisations, and support dispatch within 72 hours.
- Monitor reorder levels, report stock movements and reconcile month-end valuations with Finance.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Current SAPC registration and good standing: Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-Basic), or Basic with the intention to complete Post-Basic.
- At least three years’ experience as a registered Pharmacist’s Assistant, including hands-on stock control.
- Experience with scheduled medicine registers and batch and expiry tracking.
- Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, plus dispensing, ERP or stock-system experience.
- Reliable own transport.
Advantageous
Manufacturing pharmacy or SAHPRA-licensed environment experience; GMP/GDP/GWP knowledge; Odoo; retail pharmacy, Section 21 or cannabis-based medicine experience; and managing several hundred SKUs.
Pay: R4 800,00 - R17 000,00 per month
