Videographer, Video Editor & Photographer

About the Role

Bulldog Group Co. is looking for a creative, driven and highly organised Videographer, Video Editor & Photographer to join our growing marketing team.

This role is responsible for capturing, creating and editing high-quality visual content across the Bulldog Group of companies, including:

• Bulldog Abrasives Southern Africa
• RSB Automotive and Industrial
• YES – Your Equipment Supplier
• PACE
• Additional group brands and campaigns

The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing our brands to life through professional videography, photography and visual storytelling across social media, websites, YouTube, internal communications, training platforms, live streams, events and magazine content.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about content creation, understands branding and social media trends, and can produce professional content that is visually engaging, commercially effective and aligned with the Bulldog Group Co. brand standard.

Key Responsibilities

Videography and Content Creation

• Film and edit professional video content for multiple group brands
• Create engaging short-form and long-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
• Produce product videos, training videos, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes content and campaign videos
• Capture content at trade days, customer visits, exhibitions, branch activities, launches and corporate events
• Plan, storyboard and execute creative video concepts together with the marketing team
• Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, branding elements and music to videos where required
• Ensure all video content aligns with each brand’s identity, tone and visual standards
• Assist with fast-turnaround social media content and trend-based content creation
• Organise and maintain video footage and digital content libraries

Photography

• Capture professional photography for products, product launches, application processes, training sessions, events and campaigns
• Photograph products in both studio-style and real working environments
• Capture process and application photography for technical guides, websites, catalogues and social media
• Assist with photography content for Bulldog Group Co. Magazine, including editorial features, supplier stories, branch activities, events and team content
• Edit and retouch images where required for digital and print use
• Maintain consistency in image quality, lighting and brand presentation across all platforms

Live Streaming and Webinar Support

• Assist with live stream management for training sessions, webinars, product launches and internal presentations
• Set up and manage cameras, lighting, microphones and streaming equipment
• Support recording and streaming platforms for both internal and external events
• Ensure professional audio and visual quality during live broadcasts

Collaboration and Team Support

• Work closely with the Marketing Director and marketing team on campaigns, launches and content planning
• Collaborate with suppliers, branch teams and technical departments to capture relevant content
• Assist with creative input and new content ideas across all group brands
• Stay up to date with social media trends, content styles and industry developments
• Support additional marketing-related creative tasks where required

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience in videography, video editing and photography
• Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Lightroom or similar software
• Strong understanding of lighting, framing, composition and sound
• Experience shooting both social media content and professional promotional material
• Understanding of social media platforms and content requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask across multiple brands and projects
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Valid driver’s licence is advantageous
• Drone experience/licensing would be beneficial
