We’re building a brand that makes complex health information clear, useful and engaging. We’re looking for a versatile Content Producer who can help bring that brand to life through high-quality static and video content across our digital channels.

About the role

This is a hands-on creative production role for someone with strong graphic design skills and proven experience scripting, filming and editing video. Static content is a core part of the role: you’ll create social posts, educational carousels, paid advertising assets and other digital designs, alongside a consistent stream of video content.

You’ll work closely with our content strategist, copywriter, marketing lead and existing graphic designer to turn ideas and briefs into finished creatives. You’ll also collaborate with our founder, clinicians and subject matter experts to communicate medical concepts accurately and accessibly.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys making things, takes ownership of their work and can deliver consistently in a fast-moving team. You should be comfortable moving between formats, responding to feedback and producing creative variations for different audiences and platforms.

Key responsibilities

Static content and digital design

* Design and produce social media posts, educational carousels, infographics, paid advertising creatives and campaign assets.

* Create supporting graphics for our website, email campaigns and other digital channels.

* Translate approved copy and clinical information into clear, compelling visual content.

* Work with our graphic designer to maintain consistent typography, layouts, imagery and brand standards.

* Adapt designs into different sizes, formats and creative variations for organic and paid distribution.

Video creation and editing

* Produce short-form videos, reels, founder-led content, educational explainers, interviews and advertising creatives.

* Develop scripts, hooks, storyboards and shot lists in collaboration with our content strategist and copywriter.

* Plan and film original content, with attention to lighting, sound, framing and on-camera delivery.

* Edit footage into polished videos with effective pacing, captions, sound design and supporting graphics.

* Add motion graphics and animation where they improve the content.

* Repurpose longer recordings into multiple short-form assets and optimise videos for each platform.

Creative collaboration and delivery

* Work with the marketing lead to prioritise production and deliver content against campaign objectives.

* Contribute practical creative ideas and bring fresh approaches to how we communicate.

* Collaborate with clinicians to ensure health content is accurate and responsibly presented.

* Manage multiple briefs, deadlines and feedback rounds while keeping assets and project files organised.

* Use performance feedback to improve hooks, layouts, storytelling and creative execution.

* Maintain a steady output of finished content while protecting quality and brand consistency.

Qualifications and experience

* A tertiary degree or diploma in Multimedia Design, Communication Design, Graphic Design or a related field is preferred.

* A strong portfolio demonstrating both static design and video production.

* Video scripting, filming and editing experience is essential.

* Proven experience producing digital content for social media, websites and marketing campaigns.

* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of InDesign where relevant. Comparable tools may be considered where supported by a strong portfolio.

* Strong understanding of typography, composition, visual hierarchy and digital design.

* The ability to adapt content to different platforms, audiences and formats.

* Strong writing and storytelling instincts, with the ability to develop scripts alongside our copywriter.

* Good computer literacy and confidence using collaborative production and project management tools.

* Using AI tools to support creative production and workflow efficiency.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
