Full job description
Our client is a leading UK-based education recruitment agency that specialises in placing teachers, school leaders, graduates, teaching assistants, and support staff into schools across London and surrounding regions. Established in 2020, the business has built a strong reputation within the education sector through its consultative approach, exceptional candidate experience, and commitment to delivering high-quality recruitment solutions to schools and educational institutions.
As the business continues to grow, maintaining rigorous compliance standards remains a key part of its success. The team is now looking to strengthen its compliance function with an experienced Recruitment Compliance Administrator who can ensure candidate files meet all regulatory and safeguarding requirements before placement.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within education recruitment compliance or another highly regulated recruitment sector, such as healthcare or medical staffing, and will be comfortable managing candidate onboarding, safeguarding documentation, reference checks, right-to-work verification, and compliance audits
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Review and clear candidate files following recruiter qualification.
- Ensure all candidate documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Conduct compliance checks and verify supporting documentation.
- Maintain compliance records and candidate databases.
- Follow established compliance procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with candidates to obtain outstanding documentation where required.
- Work closely with recruiters and management to ensure candidates are fully compliant before placement.
- Monitor and maintain compliance deadlines and renewal requirements.
- Support audits and compliance reporting activities as needed.
- Previous experience in recruitment compliance, onboarding, credentialing, or compliance administration.
- Strong understanding of recruitment compliance processes and documentation requirements.
- Experience working to APSCo Compliance+ standards or similar recruitment compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidate files simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with recruitment databases, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Education recruitment compliance (highly preferred).
- Healthcare or medical recruitment compliance.
- Compliance within regulated staffing or recruitment environments.
- Experience conducting right-to-work checks, reference checks, qualification verification, safeguarding checks, and other compliance processes.
Benefits
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly organised, process-driven, and takes pride in maintaining high compliance standards. You should be comfortable working independently, managing large volumes of documentation, and ensuring every candidate file meets regulatory and company requirements before placement.
What Success Looks Like- Candidate files are cleared accurately and efficiently.
- Compliance standards are consistently maintained.
- Documentation and onboarding processes are completed within required timeframes.
- Recruiters can confidently place candidates knowing all compliance requirements have been met.
The team has recently filled their recruitment vacancy and is now specifically looking for support within compliance. Candidates with education recruitment compliance experience will be of particular interest, although experience within other regulated recruitment sectors such as healthcare or medical recruitment will also be considered.
