About the role
Shoreability is recruiting a Recruitment Resourcer to support our UK client, Portman Dentex, and its Recruitment Partners.
You will proactively source qualified dental nurses and review applications for receptionist and trainee dental nurse vacancies. Your focus will be on identifying suitable candidates, preparing clear shortlist recommendations and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
This is a research and shortlisting role. Recruitment Partners manage all candidate and hiring manager contact, interviews, offers and final recruitment decisions.
Your responsibilities

- Use targeted searches, including Boolean searches, to identify candidates suited to vacancy requirements and practice locations.
- Review CVs against written criteria and prepare concise summaries supported by evidence.
- Highlight qualifications, relevant experience and location suitability, clearly flagging information that needs confirmation.
- Build and maintain talent pools, checking for duplicate records, previous contact and existing applications.
- Review receptionist and trainee dental nurse applications and recommend next steps for Recruitment Partner review.
- Keep SmartRecruiters and recruitment trackers accurate and up to date.
- Provide clear handovers and weekly updates on completed work, outstanding priorities and sourcing challenges.
- Handle candidate information confidentially and apply fair, consistent assessment criteria.
What you’ll need
- Experience in recruitment resourcing, candidate research or application shortlisting within a busy recruitment environment.
- Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean searches, candidate databases and professional networking platforms.
- The ability to assess CVs against specific requirements and distinguish confirmed information from assumptions.
- Confidence using applicant tracking systems, CRM systems and basic reporting tools.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively with a UK-based team.
- An understanding of inclusive recruitment and confidential information handling.
Advantageous
- Dental or healthcare recruitment experience.
- Familiarity with UK dental nursing roles.
