The Doorstep Health Nurse manages localized Health Desks and delivers mobile clinical services. The role is designed to bring preventative, primary, and chronic care management directly into suburbs and everyday community hubs, bridging the gap between traditional clinics and patients' homes.

Core Responsibilities

• Health Desk Operations: Oversee localized clinical access points to manage basic screenings, vital checks, and private patient consultations.
• Medication & Sample Coordination: Manage chronic medication distribution, coordinate prescription collections, and handle patient diagnostic sample logistics.
• Primary Care & Screenings: Conduct physical assessments, monitor patient vitals, and provide vaccinations or routine injections.
• Mobile Community Outreach: Conduct scheduled follow-ups, post-surgical checks, or private home-based care visits for frail or recovering patients within the assigned area.
• Digital Health Tracking: Utilize digital platforms to log patient progress, update health passports, and coordinate with regional healthcare networks.

Pay: R170,00 - R250,00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SANC Registration (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
