Debtors and Wages Administrator
Calvinia Vleis, Paarl, Western Cape · Full-time, permanent
Calvinia Vleis is an abattoir and meat wholesaler supplying butcheries and export markets. We need an experienced debtors administrator for our wholesale and distribution store in Paarl. Our customers are on 7–14 day terms, so tight collections matter to us.
What you'll do
- Run the debtors book end to end: invoices, credit notes, delivery notes, statements, payment allocation and age analysis
- Follow up overdue accounts and keep customers within terms
- Prepare weekly wages for wholesale staff (timesheets, overtime, UIF)
- Keep financial records audit-ready
- Light office admin and support to the wholesale manager on stock control
Requirements
- 3+ years in debtors, credit control or accounts
- Sage Pastel, Xero or similar; strong Excel
- Weekly payroll experience
- Own transport or reliable commute to Paarl
Advantage
- Xero and SimplePay experience
- N6 or a diploma in Financial Management
- Food or FMCG wholesale experience
