Job Description
A well-established, high-volume restaurant in Constantia is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong leadership skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Front of House Manager in a busy restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Computer literate (POS systems, cash-ups, basic admin)
- Reliable, well-presented, and professional
- Must have own reliable transport
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front of house operations
- Manage and support front of house staff
- Handle customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform daily cash-ups and reconcile takings
- Open and close the restaurant
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen and bar
- Maintain high standards of service and cleanliness
