Vacancy: Sales Representative
Reporting to: Director
Location: Gauteng (On and Off Consumption Channel)
Contract Type: Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Rep to join our team and represent the Global Beverages Company’s brand portfolio within a designated geographical area. This role is responsible for increasing market penetration, driving brand awareness, and executing strategic sales initiatives aligned with business objectives. Individual will represent leading brands owned by Heineken.

Key Responsibilities

Drive market share growth across assigned territories

Ensure Accessibility, Availability, Affordability, and Activation (4As) for all clients

Execute and maintain Retail Selling Price (RSP) strategies

Implement a brand portfolio approach across all beer categories

Develop and implement price-driven promotions and compliance agreements

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers

Achieve call rate targets and maintain regular customer engagement

Identify and drive continuous improvement and business optimization initiatives

Take ownership of personal development and contribute to team success through collaborative behaviors

Minimum Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Diploma or Degree) is preferred

Experience & Personal Attributes

3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG Liquor or related industry

Valid Code 08 driver’s license with no endorsements and at least 2 years’ driving experience and own reliable vehicle

Availability for weekend work and promotional events

Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills

Commercial insight with the ability to evaluate the financial impact of sales decisions

Proven understanding of sales drivers across various channels

Solid knowledge of product relevance by customer tier and cluster

Ability to design and implement sales strategies that support brand growth

Technological proficiency in sales platforms and tools

Must have on and off consumption selling experience (NON NEGOTIABLE)

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
