Job Purpose

To provide professional and efficient food and beverage service to customers while ensuring a positive dining experience and maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain menu items when required.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
• Prepare tables before service, including setting cutlery and condiments.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately.
• Communicate customer orders effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and report issues to management when necessary.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment will be advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
