Bootlegger is recruiting a dynamic and experienced Franchise Support Manager (FSM) to join our team on a permanent basis. As an FSM, you will play a vital role in supporting and overseeing the operations of several restaurants within the Johannesburg region, ensuring alignment with company policies, brand standards, and performance goals. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, drive training and development initiatives, and ensure seamless communication between franchisees and the franchisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular store audits, analyze reports, perform daily store visits, and monitor store performance to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee staff recruitment, conduct interviews and inductions, manage staff turnover, and address disciplinary issues, including issuing written warnings and coordinating hearings.
• Coach and develop store staff, ensuring ongoing performance improvement. Audit and update training platforms and assist Franchise Operators in complying with brand standards.
• Foster a strong relationship with franchisees, providing consistent feedback and support to ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
• Monitor store budgets, cost of sales, and profitability, ensuring efficiency and maintaining company operating standards.
• Ensure all stores uphold brand standards in accordance with the Ops Manual, and communicate any brand updates or changes.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction in collaboration with the franchisee.
• Oversee store maintenance, revamps, and manage the implementation of new menu items.
• Conduct regular meetings with senior operations and franchisees to review store performance, address issues, and explore opportunities for growth.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Retail/Operations Management or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Restaurant/FMCG/Retail industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in Area/Regional Management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
