Full job description

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team in a busy, high-end restaurant. You should have a passion for hospitality, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while keeping service running smoothly under pressure.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and lead service from the floor.
  • Train, motivate and supervise the front-of-house team.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation and guest care.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage staff rosters, stock controls, cash-ups and operating costs.
  • Uphold cleanliness, food safety and workplace standards.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven management experience in a busy, upmarket restaurant.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent food, wine and service knowledge.
  • Confidence managing high-volume service without compromising standards.
  • Experience with POS systems, stock management and cost control.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Pay: R8 900,00 - R20 000,00 per month
