RESTAURANT MANAGER | PRETORIA CBD

Seasoned Recruitment is looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join a well-established and respected restaurant in Pretoria CBD.

Salary: R20,000 per month + performance incentives
Start Date: Immediately

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, professional and hands-on hospitality manager who has a passion for people, service and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead the team effectively and ensure consistently high standards across the business.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Restaurant Management position.
  • Proven track record within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Contactable references and a stable employment history.
  • Strong leadership, staff management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience managing different staff departments and resolving operational challenges.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Must reside within a reasonable travelling distance of Pretoria CBD.
  • Reliable own transport is essential.
  • Hospitality, Food & Beverage or related qualifications will be highly advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
  • Lead, manage and motivate the restaurant team.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
  • Manage staff performance, attendance and operational discipline.
  • Coordinate FOH and BOH departments to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints and operational issues professionally.
  • Maintain restaurant standards, procedures and policies.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, presentable and operating efficiently.
  • Assist with stock control, wastage and cost management.
  • Drive team performance and contribute towards achieving business targets.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working environment.
  • Take ownership of the overall guest experience and operational performance.

PACKAGE

R20,000 per month + performance-based incentives
