Manage the Restaurant areas and events in order to achieve financial, food and service standards

JOB PURPOSE
as set by the Company. Ensure that staff work there best to ensure a great client experience

Candidate requirements:

  • Own transport required.
  • The suitable candidate should be available to work from Friday to Monday as the restaurant only opens on weekends.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in budget management
  • Well-organised with excellent multi-tasking abilities. Able to manage multiple events simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding vendor management skills
  • Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the restaurant.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Co-ordinate bookings against walk in clients and ensure good communication between client, waitrons, and kitchen. Ensures good flow in service.
  • Handle clients’ complaints without delay, ensuring effective follow-up and action plan to avoid reoccurrence of similar issues.
  • Be available to assist with refunds, stock concerns and receipt issues.
  • Check that daily requirements of staff are done by the required time without exception.
