About the Role
we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, highly organized, and able to build systems, train staff, and maintain high operational standards.
This is a leadership position for someone who can improve kitchen performance, food quality, food cost, and team productivity.
Responsibilities
Manage all daily kitchen operations
Lead, train and supervise kitchen staff
Maintain food quality and presentation standards
Develop and implement kitchen SOPs
Control food cost, stock, wastage and GP
Manage purchasing and supplier relationships
Conduct stock counts and inventory control
Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
Schedule kitchen staff and monitor productivity
Work closely with management to improve operations and profitability
Assist with menu development and recipe standardisation
Solve operational problems quickly and efficiently
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Kitchen Management or Executive Chef role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent knowledge of stock control, food costing and kitchen administration
Experience with ordering, supplier management and inventory systems
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in Asian or Chinese cuisine is an advantage but not essential
Own transport is preferred
