Restaurant Sales jobs

The Sales Coordinator drives revenue from private and corporate events by generating leads, securing bookings, managing client relationships and coordinating seamless event delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking and existing contacts.
• Build relationships with clients, event planners, suppliers and PCOs.
• Prepare tailored quotations, proposals and contracts.
• Conduct venue tours, presentations, tastings and mock setups.
• Negotiate and secure bookings while maximising revenue through pricing and upselling.
• Coordinate event requirements with banqueting, catering, audiovisual, housekeeping and other departments.
• Resolve client complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate information in Event Temple, Mews and related sales records.
• Manage function sheets, invoices, financial documents, forecasts and sales pipelines.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and client feedback.
• Support sales campaigns, promotions, showcases and open-house events.
• Participate in operational meetings, sales meetings, training and performance reviews.

Work frequency:

• Daily: Respond to enquiries within 120 minutes, follow up leads, conduct site visits, capture booking details and address complaints.
• Weekly: Attend sales and function-sheet meetings, consult clients, monitor market activity and support promotions.
• Monthly: Review sales performance, KPIs, contracts, accounts, client feedback and marketing material.
• Annually: Support strategic planning, maintain networks, review sales strategies and complete ongoing development and compliance activities.

Job conditions:

• Requires walking, listening, speaking and carrying equipment.
• May require lifting items weighing up to 20 kg.
• Includes shift, weekend, public holiday and overtime work.

Pay: R25 000,00 per month
