Full job description

Pitsana Mills is seeking a dynamic individual with sober habits to fill the role of Night Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while ensuring operational efficiency.

(Night Shift Work Required)

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and manage all employees working on night shift.

· Be responsible for all night shift loading and dispatch activities.

· Ensure trucks are loaded correctly, safely and on time.

· Check incoming and outgoing goods and relevant documentation.

· Coordinate drivers and truck movements during the night shift.

· Ensure employees follow Company rules, safety, hygiene and food safety requirements.

· Maintain good housekeeping and order in the work areas.

· Report any problems, delays, damages or incidents to Management.

· Complete the necessary night shift records and provide a proper handover to Management.

· Assist with any other reasonable operational duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

· Strong leadership ability, with the capacity to effectively manage and lead a team.

· Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Computer literate

· Grade 12 (Matric)

· Knowledge of ISO standards and HACCP protocols will be highly advantageous.

· A valid driver’s license.
