WAITER / BARMAN - Paarl Area - Immediate Start

A busy, well-established restaurant in Paarl is looking for an experienced, well-presented Waiters and Barman to join our front-of-house team.

If you have personality, can sell, and love hospitality - we want to hear from you.

Requirements:2+ years experience as a Waiter / Barman in a busy restaurant

Good knowledge of food, wines, cocktails, beers and spirits

Must be able to make basic cocktails (or willing to learn quickly)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Well-presented, friendly, professional and punctual

Able to work under pressure, shifts, weekends and public holidays

Must be fluent in English & Afrikaans (advantage)

Live in or around Wellington / Paarl

South African ID / Valid work permit

Duties: Welcoming guests and providing excellent service from start to finish

Taking food and beverage orders accurately

Serving food and drinks professionally

Preparing and serving drinks at the bar - cocktails, coffees, spirits

Upselling and good knowledge of specials and wine list

Handling bills and POS payments (e.g. Pilot, GAAP)

Setting up, running and closing down waitron and bar stations

Keeping bar and restaurant area clean, stocked and organized

Working as part of a team

Pay: R30,23 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week

Work Location: In person
