We are recruiting for a Restaurent Waiter to serve as a first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure

Minimum Requirements

Skills and Competencies

  • Good command of English, an additional language will be advantageous
  • Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Trustworthy and Reliable
  • Have good personal hygiene
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • 1 - 2 year experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience as Restaurent Hostess will be advantageous


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations, seating plans, and guests flow to optimize table usage
  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure menus are provided promptly.
  • Liaise effectively with management and service staff regarding guest requirements and
    special requests.
  • Maintain the reception and entrance area to the highest standard of cleanliness and
    presentation.
  • Provide accurate information regarding the restaurant and assist with guest inquiries.
  • are communicated to kitchen supervisor
  • Assist in managing waiting lists during peak service hours.
