Main purpose of the role

To provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, preparing drinks, and maintaining a clean and professional environment while ensuring compliance with liquor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and explain specials or promotions
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (cocktails, wine, spirits)
  • Ensure correct glassware, garnishing, and drink preparation
  • Adhere to liquor laws and responsible service of alcohol practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, tables, and workstations
  • Process payments and handle cash or card transactions
  • Assist with stock rotation, bar inventory, and restocking supplies
  • Manage customer complaints efficiently and escalate when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and service teams
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Willingness to work in both restaurant and bar sections as needed
