Waiter Position at Folk Cafe – Join Our Vibe!

Location: St James, Cape Town

What we’re looking for:

• Experience Required: You’ve worked in restaurants before, so you know your way around a table and a POS system like a pro.
• Local Knowledge: You’ve got a keen understanding of our local wine and craft beer scene (because we like to keep it proudly South African!).
• People Skills: You’re friendly, chatty, and can make any customer feel like part of the family.
• Location: Living in or around the St James area is a must – no long commutes here!
• Valid ID/Work Permit: You must hold a valid South African ID or a work permit to be considered.

What you’ll do:

• Greet and serve our awesome customers with a smile and energy that matches the Folk Cafe vibe.
• Recommend our local wines and craft beers to enhance the Folk experience.
• Use your POS skills to handle orders and payments efficiently (because we like smooth sailing around here).
