Silver Forest Boutique Hotel & Spa – Somerset West

Silver Forest Boutique Hotel & Spa is a luxury boutique hotel in Somerset West with 10 suites, a spa and our restaurant, 3 Kitchens. We are known for our beautiful rooms, attention to detail and warm professional service.

We are looking for a professional, experienced Housekeeper to join our team.

At Silver Forest, housekeeping is one of the most important roles in our hotel. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating beautiful, perfectly presented rooms that guests remember long after their stay.

You will be working in a small luxury boutique hotel environment where attention to detail and guest experience are at the heart of everything we do.

Important Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)

To be considered for this position you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a HOTEL housekeeping team
  • Excellent written and spoken English – English is the only language used in our workplace
  • References from previous hotel employers must be included
  • Must live in or very close to Somerset West
  • Must be reliable, professional and detail-focused

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to luxury hotel standards
  • Making beds and changing linen
  • Cleaning fireplaces, floors, glass and surfaces
  • Replenishing guest amenities and supplies
  • Ensuring rooms are perfectly presented before guest arrival
  • Cleaning hotel public areas
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Assisting with laundry when required
