DSSC Tech is a licensed financial technology provider expanding its merchant acquiring footprint across South Africa. Following strong transactional growth in our primary sectors, we are launching an aggressive expansion into the formal merchant market across Gauteng.
We are seeking established, self-driven Independent B2B Commercial Agents and Field Sales Contractors to place our high-performance POS devices with formal businesses. This is a 100% commission-only contract designed for seasoned professionals who want to build a high-yielding, recurring asset portfolio rather than chase a one-off basic salary.
The Value Proposition: True Residual Income
Unlike traditional sales roles that pay a single upfront bonus, DSSC Tech offers a compounding annuity model. You earn 20% of the Monthly Net Profit generated by every single operational POS device you deploy. As long as your merchants are transacting, you get paid month after month.
Earning Tiers by Transaction Volume
- R1 Million in Monthly Processed Volume: If you onboard a handful of small-to-medium merchants that collectively process R1,000,000 a month, Your 20% cut gives you a baseline recurring income of R1,500 per month.
- R5 Million in Monthly Processed Volume: As your portfolio grows to process R5,000,000 a month, Your monthly commission scales to R7,500 per month, giving you an annualized passive income of R90,000.
- R10 Million in Monthly Processed Volume: Hitting the R10,000,000 monthly volume mark achievable with a solid mix of busy restaurants, retailers, or mid-sized wholesalers . Your cut jumps to a recurring R15,000 per month, or R180,000 annually.
- R25 Million in Monthly Processed Volume: This is where the portfolio becomes a highly lucrative standalone asset. If you secure high-traffic merchants (independent fuel stations, large independent grocers, hospitality groups, and owner-operated franchises) that push R25,000,000 through the devices each month, You take home a recurring R37,500 per month, totaling R450,000 a year.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and onboard mid-to-high-volume formal merchants (retail stores, restaurants, fuel stations, pharmacies, and commercial wholesalers) across Gauteng.
- Device Deployment & Activation: Coordinate the delivery, setup, and immediate live-activation of DSSC Tech POS hardware. (Commission triggers strictly upon successful hardware activation and transaction execution).
- Relationship Management: Ensure high device utilization rates within your portfolio. Inactive devices do not generate profit; maintaining strong relationships guarantees your monthly revenue.
- Compliance Collection: Gather required FICA documentation from merchants to ensure seamless regulatory onboarding in compliance with our Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP).
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 2–3 years of direct B2B sales experience within merchant services, telecom, FMCG distribution, or business software solutions in South Africa.
- Existing Network: An active book of business or existing relationships with formal business owners and retail managers in the Gauteng region is highly advantageous.
- Portfolio Integration Allowed: This role is ideal for independent sales representatives who currently sell non-competing business products (e.g., commercial insurance, wholesale supplies, premium security services) and want to cross-sell POS devices to their existing clients.
- Compliance Mindset: Strict adherence to financial industry standards, including FICA and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processing guidelines.
- Resources: Must possess reliable transport, a smartphone/laptop, and the capability to operate autonomously as a registered independent entity.
