We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team at a 4* boutique hotel in Bela-Bela

Qualities

• Post matric qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience at senior level.
• Very strong f&b background with knowledge of stock control
• Previous commercial restaurant experiences an added advantage
• Worked on a 3- or 4-star establishment at senior level
• Guest centric individual
• Team player
• Team leader who takes ownership
• Tolerance to diverse cultures
• PSD Innkeeper knowledge is an advantage
• Non live in position

Duties and responsibilities

Operations management

Oversee all hotel operations, including rooms division, food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, maintenance,

Financial management

Develop and manage the hotel’s budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, analysing financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize profitability and achieve financial targets.

Guest relations

Cultivate positive relationships with guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance their stay and satisfaction.

Staff training and development

Train, and supervise hotel staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high service standards and a positive work culture. Monthly feedback and appraisals to be given to HR.

Quality control

Maintain high standards of product and service quality, conducting regular inspections, and implementing procedures to ensure consistency and excellence throughout the hotel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable / Market related for property size

Pay: R1,00 per month

Work Location: In person
