YES (Youth Employment Services) Programme.

Admin Support – Warehouse

Location: Lanseria Plant

Programme Duration: 12 Months

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing stock count

• Verify previous days delivery and document them in Alpla prod system .
• Assist in receipting inbound stock on to Alpla prod and D365
• Assist Supervisor with enforcing the highest Safety Standards
• Assist Supervisor to sufficiently control, monitor and achieve standards set by Senior Management for the Despatch Department and its staff.
• Housekeeping must be to the highest standard in accordance to company standards set by Supervisor and Senior Management.
• Preparing daily work such as schedules
• Ensure orders planned for collection and delivery are timeously prepared in line with truck booking slots and allocation of pre pick bays.
• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs

Based on the Business Process Management (BPM) processes the job holder is responsible for:

S6 (Assure product conformity)

• S6.3 Responsible to comply with all Hygiene requirements in the plant.
• S6.2 Support complaint handling by reporting all identified non-conformities and support in the implementation of effective corrective actions determined by the process owner, when needed.

S10 (Ensure occupational health, safety and environment)

• Ensure that HSE compliance in own area of responsibility.
• Report any incident or unsafe conditions seen in the plant/ work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• South-African unemployed youth
• Aged between 18 and 34
• Must be medically fit
• Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before
• Applicants must reside in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and surrounding areas.
  

Qualification, Experience Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehouse Management
• Previous admin or work experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.)
• Excellent time management skills
• Good administrative skills with special attention to detail
• SAP experience advantageous
• The applicant must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
