Cooper and Cooper t/a Engineering Supplies is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team based in Welkom, Free State.

Minimum Requirements

• Must reside in or near Welkom.
• Proven sales experience in an industrial, engineering, mining, or related environment.
• Previous lifting equipment sales experience will be a distinct advantage.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Computer literate
• Professional appearance and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, industrial, and engineering sectors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Promote and sell lifting equipment, lifting accessories, hoists, cranes, and related products and services.
• Follow up on enquiries, and close sales opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits and site assessments.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery of products and services.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of lifting equipment, load testing, inspections, and related mining and industrial applications.
• Existing customer relationships within the mining and industrial sectors will be advantageous.
• Technical sales experience in a similar industry.
• Market-related salary based on qualifications and experience.
• Performance-based incentives.
