Our Accountability Assessment: How We Interview

Most companies interview you in a room, for twenty minutes, based on how well you answer questions. We don't think that tells us much about whether someone will actually show up, do the work, and keep their word when no one is watching over their shoulder every minute. So instead of a traditional interview, we use a real working period to get to know you: the Accountability Assessment.

Here's exactly how it works, because we want you to know what to expect before you apply:

• The Accountability Assessment is our interview process and it is how we decide who has the character and consistency to join our team long-term. It is also real, paid work: you earn commission for every package you sell from day one, so your effort is never unpaid.
• There is no fixed monthly salary during this period. Your income depends entirely on how many packages you sell, and it can last up to three months.
• You pass the Accountability Assessment once you have sold 45 packages in total. People who work hard and stay consistent typically reach this in about three weeks.
• Once you pass, you move onto a permanent position with a guaranteed salary, plus bonuses for sales above target.

We are upfront that this stage works differently from a normal job. We use it because we hire for accountability culture first, and competency second. It is the only real way to see whether someone shows up on time, keeps their commitments to customers, and follows through with their manager every single day is to watch them do it, not to ask them about it. Commission from day one means you're never working for free while we find that out.

Your Daily Duties

Your schedule runs from Wednesday through Sunday, from 09:00 to 18:00. Each day, you will complete five clear duties that move you toward your goals.

• You will meet prospects in your community or sell online through community groups of appliance owners.
• You will ask homeowners about the age and type of their appliances so you can qualify them for our repair plans.
• You will complete four to five successful sales calls every day so you can hit your monthly target.
• You will write a detailed note in our online employee portal immediately after every sales call.
• You will call your Sales Manager at the end of every day to share how your day went and to receive coaching and encouragement.

How You Get Paid

We believe in rewarding hard work right away. You start in a paid assessment phase that lasts up to three months. This phase is commission only, which means you earn a direct commission on every single sale from day one. The moment you sell 45 packages, you pass the assessment immediately.

Once you pass, you secure a guaranteed permanent salary of R7,500.00 every month. You also unlock generous performance bonuses for every package you sell above your monthly target of 20. Your effort gets rewarded twice, first through your guaranteed salary, and then through bonuses that grow as you do.

Your Fast Track Promotion

We do not care about office politics. We care about your results. When you hit your monthly bonus target five times, you are automatically promoted to Sales Manager. Your effort decides your future here, not your seniority.
