Role Description

This is a short term contract on site role for a Security Guard. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring physical and personnel security at assigned posts, monitoring security systems and responding to emergencies, enforcing rules and regulations, providing excellent customer service, and performing regular patrols.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills: ability to communicate effectively, build rapport with clients, and work cohesively with colleagues
• Physical Security: familiarity with security procedures, ability to operate security systems, detect and report security breaches, and respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Personnel Security: ability to screen visitors, control access to restricted areas, and maintain records of personnel movements
• Private Security: knowledge of the private security industry, security techniques, and relevant regulations and legislation
• Customer Service: ability to provide excellent customer service, respond quickly to client requests and complaints, and maintain a professional demeanour at all times
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in the security industry
• You must have CCTV training certificate and be able to do CCTV monitoring
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the security industry is a plus
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: R6 100,00 - R8 000,00 per month

Experience:

• As a Security officer or Guard : 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• PSIRA Certificate (Preferred)
