Requirements

• B-Degree or B-Tech in Civil Engineering
• ECSA registration as Professional Technologist/Engineer (Pr Tech

Eng. or Pr. Eng) or candidate to professionally register within

3 years

• 5 - 8 years’ relevant experience in water sector
• Computer literacy: MS Office
• Valid driver’s licence (Code08 EB/B)
• Physically fit and able bodied

Key Performance Areas

• Implement Zone management and treated effluent programmes.
• Maintain and Monitor District Metered Areas and Pressure

Management Zones.

• Management of WDM assets
• Develop and Implement business plans and processes.
• Plan and implement capital and operational projects associated

with water use efficiency.

• Compile specifications and manage tender processes compliant

with statutory requirements.

• Prepare Bid documentation and chair bid committees
• Assume the role of a contract manager, project manager or

contract administrator in line with CCT instructions.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage performance of a multi-disciplinary team.
