Requirements

  • A relevant BEng or BSc (Eng) engineering degree
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as Pr Eng
  • 5 – 6 years relevant experience
  • Computer literacy: MS Office.
  • Valid Code B driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas

  • Ensure the successful planning of Civil engineering projects
and service delivery integration in Informal Settlements and

backyarders.

  • Direct, steer and monitor Civil engineering projects in Informal
Settlements and backyards to its successful conclusion.

  • Ensure that proper procurements and administrative procedures
are followed and legal agreements/contracts exists between

the City of Cape Town and contracting parties.

  • Ensure that all relevant issues/facts are covered in reports and
that it contributes to sound decision making.

  • Ensure a climate conducive to promoting and sustaining
motivational levels, productivity, performance and improving

the quality of work-life is cultivated and maintained.
