Full job description

We're an Australian marketing agency that runs Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns for home services businesses across Australia. We generate the leads; your job is to call them fast, qualify them, and book them in for quotes.

You'll manage up to 10 client accounts, working leads inside our CRM (GoHighLevel) and booking appointments by phone and SMS. These are warm leads - people who've just enquired about a quote - so this is not cold calling. The job is speed, professionalism, and being a genuinely friendly voice on the phone.

This is an independent subcontractor engagement - you'll invoice us monthly and be responsible for your own tax and statutory obligations (more detail below). It suits someone who loves talking to people, wants to be part of a small, fast growing team rather than a faceless call centre, and is looking for a long-term working relationship with room to grow as we scale.

Hours - please read carefully before applying

This is a six day commitment (Sunday off). All times are South African (SAST):

  • Monday to Friday: 2:00am – 11:00am SAST (with a 1 hour mid shift break) - this is Sydney 10am–7pm
  • Saturday: 2:00am – 9:00am SAST - this is Sydney 10am–5pm

Total: ~47 hours/week across six days.

These hours are non-negotiable - they match when Australian homeowners actually answer the phone. The early start is real: you'd be beginning at 2am SAST, five days a week plus Saturday. Please be honest with yourself about whether that genuinely fits your life and sleep schedule before applying. We'd rather you opt out now than struggle later.

The arrangement

  • This is an independent contractor / subcontractor role, not employment
  • You'll invoice us monthly for R17,000
  • You're responsible for your own income tax, and any other statutory or regulatory obligations that apply to you as an independent contractor in South Africa
  • You'll use your own equipment and internet (see requirements below)
  • We provide the systems, training, scripts, and leads; you provide a reliable, professional service during the agreed hours

What you'll do

  • Call new leads within 5 minutes of them enquiring - speed is everything, and every call's response time is tracked and will be assessed as your KPI
  • Qualify leads - confirm they're in the service area, ready for a quote, and match our client's requirements
  • Book qualified leads into appointments for our clients
  • Follow up by SMS using our proven message sequence
  • Manage up to 10 client accounts inside our GoHighLevel CRM (full training provided)
  • Hit speed to lead and booking targets we'll set with you

What we're looking for

  • Excellent spoken and written English - clear, confident, and warm on the phone
  • Energetic and genuinely friendly - homeowners should be able to hear the smile in your voice
  • Highly organised and accountable - you'll juggle leads across multiple clients and nothing can slip
  • Proactive and fast to learn - we train you on the system, then you own it
  • Comfortable working both solo and as part of a small team
  • Looking for a long term working relationship - we want someone who'll grow with us, not a short term stopgap

You'll need

  • Reliable high speed internet (min. 25 Mbps)
  • A quiet, professional workspace with no background noise
  • A computer with a quality headset
  • A backup power solution for power outages
