Joyful Talk is an online English training school based in China, dedicated to providing high-quality one-on-one English lessons. Through our online platform, we connect excellent teachers from around the world with eager learners, creating a fun, efficient, and engaging English learning experience.

Teacher Requirements：

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate.
• Teaching experience preferred, especially candidates with online teaching experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English with a natural accent and clear pronunciation.
• Proficient in using ClassIn and other common teaching technology tools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills, able to demonstrate professionalism and approachability in online teaching.
• Responsible and reliable, with a strong sense of commitment; dishonesty or frequent absences will not be tolerated.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lesson Preparation and Quality

• Prepare materials and review lesson content in advance according to the student’s age and English proficiency level.
• Be familiar with the teaching materials and use them flexibly to ensure lessons are coherent, engaging, and educational.
• Maintain active interaction during lessons to inspire students’ interest and encourage self-expression.

Student Feedback and Communication

• Submit student reports promptly after each class, providing feedback on performance and learning suggestions.
• Adjust teaching methods and pace flexibly according to individual student needs.
• Communicate smoothly with the class supervisor to coordinate trial lessons, regular lessons, and rescheduling requests.
• Accept team feedback with an open mind to continuously improve teaching quality.

Professionalism and Punctuality

• Strictly adhere to class schedules and enter the classroom early to prepare before lessons.
• Show respect to students, parents, and colleagues while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Take every class seriously to ensure a high-quality and enjoyable learning experience for students.

Compensation and Benefits

• For experienced teachers, each class lasts 25 minutes, with a pay rate of $5 per lesson, which is a fixed and guaranteed rate.
• We also offer growth and promotion opportunities for new teachers: the starting rate is $4 per 25-minute lesson, which can increase to $4.5 and eventually $5, based on teaching performance and student feedback.
• Generous holiday bonuses are provided during both summer and winter breaks.
