COMPANY
Vicit Limited is a growth advisory consultancy dedicated to helping founders and business leaders of software and consulting firms navigate the many pitfalls that can befall them on their journey to growth and ultimately exit. To further complement our services, we have a growing talent practice which focuses on finding the best candidates on the market with a ‘non-recruitment’ founding team.
If you’re an ambitious and enthusiastic young professional looking to build a long‑term career in recruitment, this opportunity is the perfect place to grow. We are a passionate team dedicated to helping UK businesses scale by connecting them with exceptional talent.
As part of our team, you’ll learn the foundations of talent acquisition, gain hands‑on exposure to the recruitment lifecycle, and have room to develop into a full 360‑recruiter.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Talent Coordinator to support our recruitment activities across the UK market (and occasionally South Africa). This role is ideal for someone who has early recruitment exposure, and is eager to deepen their expertise in sourcing, coordination, and candidate engagement.
You will play a key role in identifying talent, coordinating recruitment processes, maintaining candidate pipelines, and supporting the team with administrative and operational tasks. With strong mentorship and growth opportunities, this position offers a clear path toward becoming a full recruiter.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Source potential candidates across social and professional platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, communities, etc.)
-
Engage with candidates through messaging, screening calls, and email outreach
-
Coordinate interviews, assessments, and communication between candidates and hiring teams
-
Assist the recruitment team in defining role requirements and understanding hiring needs
-
Maintain accurate candidate records in our ATS and ensure data integrity
-
Build and nurture talent pipelines for recurring and future roles
-
Conduct market research to support sourcing strategies and strengthen talent insights
-
Manage candidate follow‑ups and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the process
-
Support employer branding by promoting opportunities and representing our values online
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
-
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or talent sourcing
-
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment databases
-
Strong communication skills, clear, professional, and confident
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and remain organised
-
A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in recruitment and people engagement
-
Comfort working with social platforms, Boolean search, and digital candidate sourcing tools
DESIRABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience sourcing or coordinating roles within the UK market
-
Exposure to IT or technical recruitment
-
Experience working in a fast-paced, client‑focused environment
