We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Development Officer to support company growth by identifying new business opportunities, assisting with client acquisition, and supporting sales and tender activities. The ideal candidate is energetic, target-driven, and eager to grow within the mining and industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business leads within mining and industrial sectors
• Assist with preparation of proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Conduct market research and track industry opportunities
• Support client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups
• Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline reports
• Support marketing and promotional activities
• Assist senior management with business growth initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client relations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of mining, industrial, or engineering environments
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email)
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Valid driver’s license

Added Advantage

• Experience with mining tenders and procurement processes
• Existing contacts within the mining or industrial sector
• Technical knowledge or exposure to engineering services
