Patient Care

  • Assessing patients’ health conditions
  • Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Assisting with diagnostic tests and interpreting results
  • Developing and updating nursing care plans

Communication & Coordination

  • Collaborating with doctors and healthcare teams
  • Educating patients and families about illnesses and treatment plans
  • Advocating for patient needs and safety
  • Providing emotional support to patients and families

Documentation

  • Recording patient histories and progress
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Reporting changes in patient conditions

Clinical Procedures

  • Wound care and dressing changes
  • Starting IVs and managing intravenous therapy
  • Operating medical equipment
  • Assisting in surgeries or emergency procedures when needed

Safety & Compliance

  • Following infection-control protocols
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and ethical standards
