Full job description

Ø Conducts physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.

Ø Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.

Ø Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured.

Ø Maintains and cleans warehouse facilities as assigned for the purpose of keeping them in orderly, clean and safe condition.

Ø Maintains various files and records for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information.

Ø Maintains vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, emergency triangle, jack, spanner, spare tyre, tools, fueling, cleaning etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle.

Ø Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.

Ø Fills in checklist on a daily basis.

Ø Reports to management if vehicle is damaged immediately or else Employee will be liable for any fines occurred.

Ø Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements.

Ø Processes a variety of documents and/or materials (e.g. trip sheet, POD, tax invoices, warehouse supplies etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties and/or ensuring the proper storage of materials and supplies.

Ø Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and/or inspecting items for damage.

Ø Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals.

Ø Employee is to ensure that his/her PDP and Drivers licence is up-to-date at all times.
