Job Advert Summary
We are seeking a senior Digital Transformation Leader to drive the firm’s digital transformation objectives and deliver measurable business impact.
This is a hands-on, leadership role focused on execution, not strategy alone. The incumbent will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery, adoption and ROI of technology-enabled solutions across the firm. Central to this role is a data-first philosophy, ensuring that data accuracy, accessibility and governance underpin every initiative, while transforming how work is performed through system integration, automation and emerging technologies like AI, generative AI and agentic AI.
The successful individual will work in a highly collaborative, partner-led environment, influencing stakeholders across all levels to deliver meaningful, adopted change across the firm’s operations, client service and revenue-generating divisions.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) required
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in digital transformation or technology delivery in a leadership role with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment
- Practical experience with modern legal technology, automation and data analytics platforms
- Experience within a professional services or legal environment is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience with change management frameworks
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of data governance, analytics and enterprise systems integration

Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Own and continuously update the firm’s digital transformation roadmap, aligned to business strategy, with clearly defined, measurable outcomes.
- Develop business cases, budgets and ROI models for all digital initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing stakeholder management to identify and prioritise opportunities to automate processes, improve workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Monitor emerging technologies (including AI) and assess their applicability and business value for the Firm.
Project Delivery & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring scope, timelines, governance and success criteria are clearly defined.
- Champion the redesign of business processes, fully leveraging technology to transform how work is performed.
- Deliver multiple transformation initiatives through to implementation, user adoption and post-implementation review.
- Manage vendors and external partners, ensuring accountability for delivery and performance.
- Collaborate closely with IT to ensure seamless integration of systems, data and infrastructure readiness
- Drive user adoption through structured change management, training and stakeholder engagement
- Build strong relationships with partners and business leaders to ensure buy-in and sustained usage of solutions
- Measure adoption, user experience and realised business benefits
Data Strategy & Analytics
- Own the firm’s data strategy, ensuring high standards of data accuracy, integrity and accessibility.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and data quality practices.
- Lead the firm’s business intelligence and data analytics initiatives, delivering relevant executive dashboards.
- Enable data-driven decision-making through real-time insights and self-service reporting.
