About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media & Administrator to manage our client's online presence while providing day-to-day administrative support. This is a hybrid position suited to someone who is equal parts creative and organized, comfortable switching between content creation and back-office tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Write engaging captions and manage posting calendars
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow follower base
  • Track basic performance metrics and report on content performance
  • Source or edit images/videos for posts (basic design/editing skills)
  • Stay current on platform trends and adjust content strategy accordingly

Administrative

  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate calendars
  • Handle email correspondence and general office queries
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and data capturing
  • Assist with document preparation, invoicing, or basic bookkeeping support
  • Order office supplies and manage vendor communication
  • Provide general support to management as needed

Requirements

  • Matric essential; a qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Office Administration advantageous
  • 1–3 years' experience in a social media or administrative role
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficient in Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling tools
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to multitask
  • Own transport/reliable means of getting to work
