Position: Warehouse Manager Company:Finfloor SA Location: Eastgate, Sandton, Johannesburg Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

Finfloor SA is seeking an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Warehouse Managerto oversee daily operations at our Sandton branch. In this role, you will take full ownership of stock control, dispatch, health and safety, and team leadership, ensuring that our logistics run smoothly, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to warehouse staff, forklift operators, and delivery drivers; enforce operational standards and cultivate a high-performance team culture.
  • Inventory & Systems Management:Accurately track stock movements, receipts, and dispatches using ERP and Proof of Delivery (POD) systems.
  • Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate daily order fulfillment, vehicle loading, and delivery routes to ensure on-time service.
  • Process Compliance & Safety: Enforce company standard operating procedures (SOPs), warehouse security protocols, and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Relations:Liaise professionally with walk-in trade clients, contractors, and internal sales teams to resolve queries and streamline collections.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Skills

  • Proven Management Experience:Minimum 2 years in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role (5+ years strongly preferred).
  • Systems Proficiency: Solid experience with ERP platforms (hands-on experience with Acumatica is a distinct advantage), electronic POD systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Material Handling Knowledge: Valid forklift license or deep operational knowledge of safe forklift handling and maintenance.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Operational Strengths: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to planning, prioritizing, and following up on tasks.

Advantageous / Preferred

  • Prior experience in flooring, building materials, or wholesale distribution.
  • Valid South African drivers license.

Pay: R18 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
