Full job description

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Welders to join our team. The successful candidates must be trade tested and capable of producing high-quality welding work in an industrial, construction, fabrication, or power station environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Recognised Welder Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal/Section 26D or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' proven welding experience in an industrial, fabrication, mining, petrochemical, or power station environment.
  • Proficient in one or more of the following welding processes:
  • SMAW (Stick)
  • GMAW (MIG)
  • GTAW (TIG)
  • FCAW
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
  • Knowledge of welding quality standards and safe work practices.
  • Medically fit to work in an industrial environment.
  • Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication work in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate welding equipment and associated tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental requirements.

  • Certified copy of Welder Trade Test Certificate
  • Certified copies of all relevant qualifications and welding certificates
  • Certified copy of South African ID
