About the Role
The Really Great Teacher Company is a Hong Kong-based teacher management organisation that partners with leading online education platforms globally. We are currently recruiting experienced online English teachers to join our network and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons — primarily to children, with some adult learner sessions.
This is a fully remote position. Teachers work from their own home offices, connecting with students online.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, engaging online English lessons to learners across Asia, primarily children aged 4–12, with some adult learner sessions
- Maintain a professional, distraction-free virtual teaching environment
- Meet a minimum teaching commitment of 40 hours per month
- Follow lesson plans and platform guidelines provided by our client education partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (any field)
- Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA certification
- Minimum 2 years of online English teaching experience
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- Comfortable with video conferencing and online teaching platforms
Technical Requirements
The following home office setup is required before commencement:
- Computer: PC with Intel Core i5 processor (or equivalent), minimum 8GB RAM
- Internet: Fibre broadband connection, minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed, connected via LAN cable
- Power backup: UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) with a minimum of 4–5 hours battery life — required for locations that experience power interruptions
- Audio/Video: Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam
Role Details
- Contract type: Independent contractor
- Start date: Upon successful completion of the recruitment and onboarding process
- Teaching hours: Flexible scheduling within peak hours — Monday to Sunday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM SAST (minimum 40 hours per month required)
- Location: Fully remote
