I used to be a teller at absa for 5 years, Dealing with customers was the best feeling ever.They enjoyed my service and they always recommended me of being effective and efficient.
It was a good working environment and good team work ,great people to work with perfect management,u learn a new thing everyday,customer service and management
Prepare my station before arrival of customers. Withdrawal, transfers and deposits into customers account. Make sure that your station is prepared don't leave customers now and them to look for stationery. Management was supportive and very good to work with. Is a banking sector you must at all time be vigilant for fraudsters. Have to be short or surplus during the time you balance after end of day. having to meet different people at all times
when we have to be offline and not have work to do all inconveniencing clients but learned at times the will be setbacks but they are not there to discourage us but learn and implement a structure that will assist, the hardest part was the people who will come and try to do fraud so one neede to be alert at all times, most enjoyable part of my job was the enviroment

Absa a day to day running business with over a million clients. It is well known as the biggest and best banks and working there strengthened my cultural beliefs as most importantly clients are different and have to be treated in a certain way but mostly respected. We had the hi5'. Smile, Greet, how can I help you, anything else you'd like assistance with, Thank you and have a great day. I still practice and do them even when I no longer work there. The most important principle: The customer is always right
I like working in a healthy environment, with friendly people who understand your culture,as we know we are all unique as human. I'm a hard worker I liked working with people with integrity ,people who respect their job and who respect others. People who are passionate about what they are doing not because their get paid at the end of the month.amAppreciating what I have it has helps me a lot ,because other people they also which to have what I have.
