Fun collaborative

It is collaborative environment and the work culture is amazing especially in regards to hybrid ways of work. I would recommend working here to my family and friends

Good place to start career, progression is tricky. Make sure you have good networks to not get stuck. Putting your head down won't guarantee success, you need to know people.

Stressful environment

Very stressful and biased leaders. No growth potential unless you a candidate of EE. Not fair to all staff. Over work existing experienced staff because roles are filled as a result of EE and not skills needed for business growth. Wasted 2years at his organization. Culture is night and day compared to at the beginning of my career. Not a healthy environment.

Overworked to carry other EE candidates that are not carrying their weight.

Caring and supportive organisation

Absa was one best Corporate Company I ever worked for. The employer respect and look well after their employees in all areas. Development is the key in the company. It is very easy and fair to climb the ladder inside the company. Management is always supportive of career growth and development.

Fast paced and busy

Growth is there and opportunities to study are there as well. The environment is very fast paced and there culture needs a bit of work to it but its an ok company.

A multicultural environment; full of diversity and inclusion. The people are warm and exciting! Absa supports brainwave ideas and rewards hard workers. Absa believes in values that aim to bring out who they are as a brand that cares for its customers both external and internal.

Fast paced environment, good compensation and benefits and great training/learning and development opportunities.

Fast paced environment, good compensation and benefits, great training/learning and development opportunities.I have grown as a professional and for the most part have enjoyed the quality of work. However the hours are often long and sometimes stressful.

Great company to work for if you are in the right segment

Great place, flexibility on work life balance. Also nice packages on salary but for internal moves salary increase is constrained. No transparency on salary scales easy to be underpaid

Good place to start your career

A great company to start a career. It’s very fast-paced and you get to deal with a variety of different people - both good and bad. It’s a highly competitive work environment that can easily be interpreted as toxic but it does prepare you for anything and everything.Definitely teaches one to be thick-skinned while also giving great exposure to different technical subject matter.
