A great company to start a career. It’s very fast-paced and you get to deal with a variety of different people - both good and bad. It’s a highly competitive work environment that can easily be interpreted as toxic but it does prepare you for anything and everything.Definitely teaches one to be thick-skinned while also giving great exposure to different technical subject matter.

Good employer who take care of the employees and fair remunerations.A lot of opportunities to study and upskillit can be hard to get positions as it seem you need to know someone or be on HRs back following up

Targets, some managers lack leadership skills and can be bias and abusive.

An eco friendly well mannered company.

I was an employee at Absa about 5 years back and I will always remember Absa as being the best company I have worked for. Unfortunately due to the relocation in provinces, I wasn't able to take the opportunity but I had good, productive meaningful years at Absa. The staff and management where truly on par with with ethic and culture and given the opportunity I would work for Barclays Absa any day.

It was a marvellous corporate place to work in , meeting diverse clients

Working at Absa as a micro lending agent was phenomenal but with challenges of having to meet a targets and it during the recession period where economy was sinking and people losing their jobs. For that matter it was not easy to get clients.

Productive and fun workplace

The workplace at Absa is relaxed, unlike your typical call centres. The management is rather approachable and tend to lead by example, overall a good working environment

Absa Technology Finance book was sold with the staff Negotiations was done in an orderly manner Also Sasbo negotiated number of years service and transfer of annual leave

Its a great environment to work in.

It feels like you are with family . Its always exciting waking up and going to work. Excellent working hours and great salary. Management and employees understand one another and have a good relationship. Bonuses are insanely nice.

Excellent. Good moral. Good and friendly staff. Nice incentives. Passion for sales and proctivity. Goal oriented an driven team. Teamwork is of utmost importance.

fun productive work place

my day is simple and we work as a well oiled team in our department we manage all our own changes and movements for example wen its time to change rolls to give someone else a chance to learn we decide amongst our selves and inform management if its ok and work from there.

I enjoyed working at asba, however they were not willing to make me a permanent employee due to restructuring. I was disappointed to leave the company for a permanent position elsewhere

Heb geleerd om met klante om te gaan en hun problemen op te lossen. Verantwoordelijkheid geleerd. Morst soms met veel kontant omgaan. Heb hun computersysteem geleerd.

Good Working Enviroment

put more effort at making management understand what they are doing

If they invest in the employees a lot can change and be the go to bank. Was 1 of my best times in times in terms of working with clients internally but need to acknowledge more ideas from colleagues to better services.

I have worked at Absa for more than 12 years working in various departments like Marketing, Retail. I have acquired lot of experience and skills within the organization. My experience has helped to become a person that I am today, the culture of work was very pleasing because we worked as a team

Ive gained in how to work under pressure and well with people from different backgrounds.

Absa has groomed me as an individual. I am now able to work with various types of people, understanding their needs, being able to solution their queries, am able to utilise such skills even in my daily and personal life.

I have quite more experience in Marketing Absa product such as Absa Flexi savings, funeral plans, credit cards, savings plan, money builder account and maintaining all FICA requirement to verify Clients
