Productive workplace
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 27 February 2022
Pros: fun culture and great teamwork, being able to talk and communicate with different people each day Cons: very little room for growth you will be in the same position no matter how hard and dedicated you work, management didn’t know how to be a good leader but rather always instilled fear to reach targets

Product and fun workplace
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 16 October 2021
It was fun working at adidas for festive season.Assiting customers about choosing the right product was hectic and dealing with impatient customers was also hectic but convienced them in a patient manner. I learnt that there was alot of sales competition and the sale was very good in such a way that it helped customers purchase affordable goods and also it had a positive impact on the company. The management was excellent and the workplace culture was also interesting.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Long hours and standing the whole day.

Very productive and fun workspace.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 2 May 2021
The workspace and how you much you enjoy it is based on your colleagues. If you don't get along with them you are doomed. Teamwork is essential. If you want to progress in the company be open about it. The work is never ending because you need to have the store at high retail standards at all cost. The work can be a bit of an overload at times. Again teamwork.. also managers constantly change. If avoid be a 'teachers pet'. Every manager has their own expectations and goals, so learn to adapt. And oh salaries are always an issue.
Pros
The uniform is free ( just don't leave within 6 months)
Cons
Conflicts, workload and inconsistent salaries

I'm happy with my current employment
Sales assistant/Cashier and visual merchandiser (Current Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 20 May 2020
At Adidas we are all about team work. Team challenges. Team game changers.
On a typical day we come in a hour before shift... Prep paper work. Have a team huddle and we make sure all team members are in good shape to start the day. We have a great and enthusiastic management team and we often get training on products in store. I think retail in general is challenging. Most enjoyable part? Everyday is a good day!
