Pretty stressful place to work in, the shift leaders undermine their employees

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
The money is very good, although the shift leaders undermine the people in lower jobs, you can take it, at least the money is good. They always give you a had time when you want to take a your annual leave as if it's not your right to do so. Maybe people are treated better in jigher positions. More professionally. I can assure you, there's absolutely no professionalism in the lowest grade. You are treated more as a number than an actual person.

Pros

Paid sick leave, maternity leave, annual leave.

Cons

Shifts and long hours

Greatest company I worked for.

Aspen Pharmacare will always have the potential to grow from strength to strength because they enrich and empower their employees. Offers employees endless opportunities to grow with the company.

Productive but mismanaged

Aspen is a good company to work for but it has its floors like every other company. It requires long working hours with no reward (incentive programme) in place to reward or give back to employees for their hard and good work.

Productive work place

Good working environment with good leadership. The company has a good structure in management. Very challenging work. I work as general assistant in the low Birden department as manufacture of ointments and creams. And also as an operator in the lines with a complex machine the Comadis V200 which I'm tasked to fix and repair and make sure no damage happens to ointment tubes and creams. And I also help in the administrations as a poter. Which I'm also task to search and recover batches . Printing of batch documents.

Pros

None

To work there was partly a fun thing, as there were lots of people to see. In that kind of environment you so much learn a lot from people.

You learn things like respect and care for each other. And discover lots of personalities and characters behavior and so forth and you be able to adapt and to fit in your own way.

Pros

free lunch, so much money that you get paid

Cons

but you work 8 hours long and sometimes overtime and thats tiring at some point
