A typical day at work would be to go to markets of my choice or the ones that i have been allocated by my manager. I would probably visit two to three markets before noon prospecting for most of the day. Then go to the office to capture the business i have for the day. Follow up on queries. Do lead and follow up. I have learned to be responsible and productive since this is commission only job. There's a strong culture of productivity. The hardest part of the job is when u don't have leads and don't have to start for the day. The most enjoyable part of the job is that its flexible in terms of time management and there's no limit of commission to be made,
Marketing is a good job ,you make your own salary ,now I want to work on other Field ,I need basic salary even I can earn R14000 to r 20000 is fine ,cos when you earn commissions you work under depressed sometimes you can work for 3 to 4 months without a earning ,once you earn R30000 you have to balance those past months

It was very challenging job, because i used go do some presentation expecting to come back with one or two sales only to find you get nothing. but i learned that days are not the same, i must not giving up. I was making sure that i explained everything to the client i meet so that he or she can refer me to the next. street job never been a child play but you have to adapt in any how. can you imagine going up and down doing presentation only to find the whole month you don't get even a single client. The part i was enjoying the most when its 28th of the month and i know that i have ten and more clients, that was a most exciting part

Sometimes when you look for customer alone you get discouraged by rejection you get from clients so we normally go out in group and help one another and taught me working as a group is a success always. When we started we went to a training for a week which gave us full understanding of the products and money to kick start with selling of products. The most challenging part of this job is when you signed up a client and there is only one details outstanding when you phone the client a phone goes on voice mail. If a policy is lapsed the commission you earned for that particular pilcy must be reversed. The most enjoyable part is reward I must say commission is great.
No client no salaries
you have to prospect potential source that you can sell insurance policies to. you learn how to handle rejections as well patience. the hardest part of the job would be when you have no choice but to work hard in order for an individual to earn a salary. you enjoy the job when you work hard because you do not have specific working hours
Liaison with the managers, typing, filing, answering telephone calls, Travelling programs, client services, hotel booking, conference arrangements capturing and advertising.

Towards month end it use to get quite bussy with the scanning and ensuring business to go through before closing for commission for reps.Learned to work with all kinds of people and to respect them and treat them with respect and in exchange to be respected by them.Mangement: The Area Manager are very open minded and treated us with respect and dignaty.I had a good understanding with them and again the way you treat them is how they treat you.Handling the representatives when meetings were held when it is month end.Once I scanned the business and the business issued for reps to get paid at the end of the month was the most rewarding. As they do not work on a basic salary.
