I feel can be so much that can brew done to secure or improve the life of employees at avbob, the company is a great company but it has lot of gaps, to grown and communication with management level is Zero. After 100 years of Services you would think Avbob system is reach but not still lot of challenges company is going through, I think collaboration with Employees will help the company
This job was more convenient in terms of working because I would work anytime anywhere. I have learnt to deal with different kinds of people and also how to do a presentation for group of people e.g at school and some other work places. Management was not bad but i just wish they were more realistic most of the times. The hardest part of that job was when you work and not get paid because of the lapses (people who have cancelled their policies or dispute the debit orders) because I was a commission earner. The enjoyable part when was the motivational speeches every first Monday of the week from our Area manager
All the sales experience I have obtain from all the companies I have worked for its all thanks to AVBOB and its Management,Employees that I learn a lot from about face to face sales experience which I am very much on top of my game when it comes to any sales industry wether its sales,customer service or inbound,outbound sales I can do it all as I can deliver by all means within any of the mention sales department.
Hours where depended on myself as I was working in the field
- Start at 08:00, cleaning the office, sorting out the admin, making coffee or tea for the manager, helping with funeral arrangements. - Everyday is a learning day, diferend kinds of people. - Great management, always at the office, (home friends) - Great atmosphere, great workers - To give your condolences with the family - To be able to comfort the family after the funeral arrangements
To be able to go to the manager if I need time off, never said no
24Hrs Standby and Weekend Standby
In the mornings I go in to submit new applications and do client inquiries about existing policies. In my line of work I have learnt team work and speaking freely and openly with co-workers.Being able to work independently and in a group. The team leaders and management are very helpful and they couched and mentored me in understanding the insurance industry, dealing with clients and in any part that i didn't understand they were there for me. The hardest part of my day is scouting and finding new clients and the most enjoyable part is the team work activities that the company occasionally has.
